I wana cry

I wish I cud cry
I wish I cud cry out
winning my worthless ego
overcoming those stupid inhibitions
not letting my self go
breaking the phenomenal law of
“Man don’t cry”.

I wish I cud cry out
to let flow in my tears
the deposits of the journey till now
breaking all dams, humane.

I wish I cud cry out loud
and let my moan echo,
to make it reach the ears
which always missed my tears.

I wish to cry
clear and loud,
but who’ll hear
the mystry shrouds.

the one who hears me
all the time
got his tears
flowing with mine.

Today I was watching a movie namely “The Last Kiss” about a troubled marriage after the child. The story first shows how much the couple loved each other and were about to start a family. They were even planing to buy a house when she gets pregnant. Suddenly the guy starts feeling that his life is over and there is no adventure left in his life and he gets involved with another gal only to find himself in a situation where he looses both of them but his constant efforts was successful finally in persuading the love of his life.

At one point in the movie when the female lover was persuading her lover not to get disheartened and keep trying to look positive and work in the direction of the goal ( buying a house), she says these words ” You need to breathe or you die“. The boyfriends laughs.

Even I laughed at first but once I imbibed the deeper meaning, it got me stunned and eventually motivated. I have always wondered how easily in simple layman’s language these Hollywood movies state those bitter truths of life.It graciously flaunts the superiority of Foreign cinema of its emotional quotient in the most simple of the language  possible. A message to all those who take foreign film industry as a paradise for action and science fiction lovers only. Some of the movies are just brilliant in explaining the human emotions rather beautifully and sometimes even without a single word. Consider movies on Nazi Germany like “The Pianist” and you’ll realise the emotional strength of  cinema even without words at certain places.

Our first look will only find those beautiful words as any general statement of the language  but if you could get your conscience work while listening one of those sentences or if your conscience ( rarely active)  catches one of those sentences it will get you enlightened by the deeper meaning of life. The conscience is something having  a direct connection to the soul and thus we are talking about words that connects with our soul. The part of us which is non perishable and yet not visible. The beauty of such words always lie in the simplicity of the sentence and hence having a simple meaning too for those sitting with a closed head or conscience and the deeper meaning meant for the one looking for the path of light. Such words are like the saint spoken words showing  the path of light to lead which possess the power to set us on the path to The final abode.

Prayer

With the recent happenings in my life leading to a  series of ups and downs in life led me to contemplate a lot and sometimes brood over what happened and sometimes frolicking like a new born unaware of the cruel world. In one of such days i came up with this prayer i literally said so many tiems since then and has been the souce of my strength since then…

O God, The lord of ultimate wisdom of life, the creator of universe and this life.My life has no meaning without you and it will be a hollowglass without the sacred juices of life. Please pour those juices of your wisdom to make my soul content and worthy.  Whenever i tried to extract those juices on my own, the fruit was juiceless and the life remained hollow.

O lord,
who puts the juices in the fruit,
and grain in the yield,
please put some life into me.

Bless

To bless someone is beyond the powers of common people like me but can just make an aura of beautiful words and bind him (The almighty) to bring happinezz around our loved ones….

We all have heard that love is the most beautiful thing God created and many of us have experienced and felt the same but there are a few of us who have tasted the bitter taste of love and none of their day passes when they don’t curse God for creating a feeling called love. They would agree with me that “Love is a drop of honey mixed with ten drops of bitterness”. Here goes the words of one such lover it may be you or me or your lover…

My lover is no angel
but a witch of the dark
for she always tried
to do us apart.

As lovers are insane
and so does the love.
paralysing intellects
leading them to wrath.

Hi,

I got this mail today and really found it worth sharing and what better place than my blog. Believe me it puts all my feelings into words and i really feel that this kind of a step is the need of the hour. We have to show our feelings to the limping gaurds of the democracy that its not just the democracy but its the entire humanity that lies at risk here and if they don’t act in time than the common man of this country will have to do something. We are the ones who put them into power every time and we can take that power back too. We are The People Of India !!!

I hope this event will showcase the anger and anguish of not only the people of bangalore but the people of entire nation. The event will show that we Indians are not just a crowd of people and can be fooled by anyone in the name of religion or anything else rather this crowd can become the largest army against anyone and anything in case of any danger on the integrity of our mother land. We are not Hindu Muslim or of any religion for that matter, but an Indian First of all.

Here goes the mail…

December 8: Bangalore walks to demand action!

Citizens,

November 26 marks a new low in our country’s sinking security situation. We are now at a state where every major sphere of our life has been attacked – trains, temples, mosques, cars, markets, parliament, parks, offices – and now hotels. When does this stop? We pay crores and crores of taxes and levies, without even 1 paise bearing a semblance of accountability. We have blamed everybody from God to our politicians for the condition we are in; but the fact remains that we have failed because of our own unwillingness to act and to demand accountability.

We must take action atleast now – an action that is drastic, cumulative of years of not doing anything. Let us demand for accountability! Let us make our so called elected representatives account for every paisa of the money that we have paid up to ensure our safekeeping, good roads, continuous electricity, clean water, to mention the basics. Let us have them justify their Z-class and Y-class security, while we burn. Where is the accountability? Let us bring it back.

Here are a few numbers to quantify things:

Number of terrorist attacks in India since 1993: 33
Number of terrorist attacks in India since 2001: 30
Number of terrorist attacks in India in 2008: 10

Number of people killed since 1993: 1300+

Income Taxes collected from individuals for the Financial year ending 31st March, 2008: Rs. 10,37,40,00,00,000 (103740 crores)
Sales, property, petroleum and service taxes collected for the Financial year ending 31st March, 2008: Rs. 6,73,83,00,00,000 (67383 crores)
Income from Police, fines etc.: Rs. 14,67,00,00,000 (1467 crores)

Expenditure on Anti-terror squads, Police upkeep, Police development/improvement, equipment upgradation for past 5 years: 3700 crores

Here is a list of attacks in 2008:

May 13, 2008 – at least 63 were killed in 9 bomb blasts along 6 areas in Jaipur. 63 deaths
July 25, 2008 – at least 2 were killed and 20 injured in 8 low intensity bomb blasts in Bangalore. 2 deaths
July 26, 2008 – 56 were killed and over 110 injured in 17 serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad. 29 deaths
September 13, 2008 – at least 15 were killed and over 110 injured in 5 bomb blasts in Delhi markets. 21 deaths.
September 27, 2008 – 1 killed and at least 17 injured in bombings at Mehrauli area 2 bomb blasts in Delhi flower market. 1 death.
September 29, 2008 – 10 killed and 80 in bombings in Maharashtra and Gujarat bomb blasts. 10 deaths.
October 1, 2008 – 0-4 killed and up to 100 injured in Agartala bombing. 4 deaths.
October 21, 2008 – 17 killed and at least 40 injured in Imphal bomb blast. 17 deaths.
October 30, 2008 – 45+ killed and at least 300 injured in Assam bomb blast. 77 deaths.
November 26, 2008 – At least 101 killed and 287 injured in a coordinated attack in Mumbai. [9] 125 deaths and increasing

The disparity between the requirements for our country’s security and the actual disbursement has reared its ugly head in 2008. We are now faced with the reality that terrorism is deep rooted in India and we must act! Our Prime Minister, for his illustrious career and stellar academics, is as effective as we have been in handling terrorism; his address to the nation being ineffective, lacklustre, passive and non-commital, to say the least. Our Home Minister, Shivraj Patil, is known more for his propensity to dress up and for chronic foot-in-mouth comments and actions. It is with good reason that I do not attach the standard “Honourable” to these ministers. So when do we take action? The time has come.

The frequency of attacks is increasing exponentially, there have been 10 this year! And we have not seen even one step in terms of affirmative response, let alone affirmative-preemptive action and safeguards. Let us not wait for these attacks to get any worse. Let us demand answers. But first let us ensure that we do our part in turning things around. Let us first prevent ourselves from succumbing to cowardice. When times have taken a turn for the worst, we must step up with courage. Let us step out of our homes to demand our rights. When our parents, spouses, siblings and other loved ones fear for our safety and try to deter us from taking that step, we must assure them that we are doing so for our own continued safety, for if we do not take action now we have failed yet again due to our own weakness, for we are now only a step short of civil unrest and war. Let us head out and demand action!

We must not remain calm as is being called for by our politicians. We must show our anger, grief and resentment, and press for action.

People of Bangalore, on December 8th, 2008, let us peacefully set out from our homes, offices, schools, colleges, malls and shops and converge at Vidhana Soudha by 12noon, and demand the presence of Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and Home Minister V S Acharya, to put forth the following demands, threats and assertions:
1. If there is 1 more attack we boycott our schools, colleges, offices and professions till our safety is ensured.
2. If there is 1 more attack we do not pay any taxes and fines (income taxes, service taxes, even sales taxes on petroleum and groceries).
3. For every year that has a terror attack, we do not pay taxes and fines.
4. Every minister’s security detail is removed until all the terror attacks of 2008 have been investigated and verdicts handed out.
5. Our security forces are trained to world standards in 3 years, by pioneers in the field, from Israel, France and the United States.
6. NSG Commandos to be decentralised from Manesar, and 1 unit each to be present at 5 locations across India – North, South, East, West, Central.
7. Every Minister with even a single charge of crime against his/her name to vacate office immediately and disbarment due to this condition be made binding for any candidate.
8. Every single entry point in to and exit point out of India (flights, road, trains, water vessels) to have severe and restrictive identity and security screening. Any discrepancy with any person to warrant immediate deportation to last port of exit.

On December 8th, let us begin the movement to make sure that we leave no stone unturned to bring back peace and security to our country. Let us set out to Vidhana Soudha and call other citizens to join the movement. Let us draw people from their homes and residences to join the movement. Let us have students and teachers walk together from the classrooms. Let us have employees and bosses walk together from the offices. Let us have citizens from every walk of life join the movement. If we have people who are not computer-enabled, let us read to them this message and spread the call. For unless it is a mass movement, it has no effect. If all people from the big bosses of IT and Financial majors to the daily-wage labourer, are not present we are under-represented and ineffective. When unions can take out strikes for reasons unknown or unclear, we can form together atleast to demand our safety. If the 10 attacks and 350+ deaths of 2008 are not enough to evince your action, whose death will it take?

Please spread the call, forward this message without fear of censure from superiors and peers, for this is the time to act.

Let our voices be heard on December 8th!

With all sincerity,
Fellow citizen

PS: Due to overwhelming rejections for December 8th, The movement will be on December 7th.
Also, Radio and newspaper announcements are being looked into.

Johannesburg

Hi,

Life is going thru really tough times leaving me too scattered in terms of my thought process and the mindset is going thru various makeovers each day as I am spending more time these days analysing my self and the way life is revolvong around me or rather it has made me to take several merry-go-rounds. I am undergoing a churning and restructuring of my thoughts and rather the way i think. I would soon be back with my new creations and with a greater insight into my being.

Heres something i wrote for The city of Johannesburg for a contest.

Johannesburg, The golden city of dreams. I havent been to Joburg but have only known it largely thru net and my imagination, so for a distant, “never been there” person like me the city stands as the gold capital of South Africa. The history of the city dates backs to1200s when the Nthu people moved in the area and got settled but it wasn’t untill 1880s when the gold was found in Witwatersrand, near present day Johannesburg city and the white people moved in.The Joburg stands as a  city by the people of mixed races and then by their variety of cultures. The city has always welcomed and absorbed people with their new cultures to get enriched each time. The SA being the most developed country in the African continent, people from poor and war hit countries have been flooding in and the people of the city embraced them and their cultures with the same enthusiasm.

A Tryst with God !!

Last friday while I was returning home from work, I got down to take a stroll in the market. I roamed thru the market and reached the bus stop to board the bus back home. There was a boy aged 8-9 yrs selling toys on the footpath. The bus was about to start so I got the ticket and bumped on the window seat. The bus was still on the bus stop and I was watching the young toy seller. He had a basket containing miniatures of some of the famous two wheel vehicles. He had put the basket aside and was counting the day’s earnings. While he was counting he used to raise his face every now and then and see both the sides if some one is seeing him as if guarding some sought after treasure. While counting and looking here n there he once happen to caught me staring at him. The hazy brown eyes gave me a piercing look. He was so offended as if I have been eyeing his hard earned money. I was so filled with guilt that couldn’t continue looking at him. After a while I gathered enough courage to look at him again to found that he was looking right into my eyes. I felt those piercing eyes to be questioning me my worthiness of having spent so much on my sundry things which he may not have thought about in his wildest dreams. His eyes seem to be questioning me the harshest reality of life, the huge divide between rich and poor. Even God couldn’t have been able to make this harsh reality understandable to his innocent heart let alone me.

The bus started moving and those eyes were still looking straight into mine. I had not given much attention to the surroundings since I boarded the bus. The bus was over crowded as usual like any friday evening. There were people returning home from office and  those setting off for their weekend destinations. There were students out for their daily or weekly stroll. While i was observing this I also observed that I couldn’t hear even a single noise from inside or outside the bus. “Oh my God, what happened to my ears !!” i shouted. I soon realized that all the voices around have ciphered away some time back. The people in the bus seemed to be dumb and just moving their lips trying to speak in vain. It was less shocking and more of strangely pleasant to realize when Everything except me and those invigorating eyes seemed ethereal and there was just me and those two hazy brown eyes surrounded by the vast darkness of a milky white light. Everything else seemed to be suspended weightless in the vast universe of ether lit by thousands of white bulbs.

hands_of_god_and_adam-4002

The flow of my understanding of the situation was broken suddenly by a calm but pleasantly energized voice “why did I send you here and what you are doing.

Who’s this?“, I said looking around but found no one.

You have lost your vision and the path of light too“, the voice said.

Who are you and why you asking me this ?“, I shouted. “It’s just an illusion or my imagination but not reality. May be I am too tired today“, I said to myself.

Everything that you are able to see right now is real and rest all is an illusion, your imagination“.

I looked around and could only see those hazy eyes still staring at me and both of us surrounded by that milky white light. I lost my senses when I observed that I had no weight at that time and the sense of stimuli had also vanished but I was in full conscious as i could still see those hazy brown eyes looking into mine. Those eyes didn’t have the innocence of a child but brightness unmatched. I don’t know what made me ask “Are you God ?

Now you want to materialize God too. Why you need a material and measurable picture of everything before you start believing it. Why you always want to measure everything. What makes you believe that you ll be breathing the next day when you go to bed. Can you count the remaining breaths? Why you always think of yourself as the ruler of this universe. Do you think you have measured the Universe by sending your petty machines there and dumping them after use to ruin my creation. Why always spoiling the balance of Mother Nature is a great achievement for you worth a noble prize. I inspired you to make religions so that you have faith in me and respect for Mother Nature but it seemed to have become a license to kill each other. What you do when some one ruins your garden. For how long do you think will I bear you guys mercilessly ruining each part of my garden. Now Its time…”

Sir, its your stop.” the Ticket Checker told me with a slight blow on my shoulder.

I opened my eyes to find myself in the crowded bus and waded thru with great difficulty to get down at my stop. The noise inside the bus and office time traffic was taking me to nerves. But it wasn’t a dream, I thought. I was sure it wasn’t a dream but the logical and materialistic mind is still unable to take it as reality. I was thinking about this all thru my way back home from bus stop.

The Unconscious you

You got the looks
and catch eyes
but then
why you are bound
by the people around.

You got the guts
and the calibre
but then why you keep
yourself aback.

You often stop
when you are about to speak
and the world’s ready
to turn your way.

You got the pride
and carry it well
but then
why this pride
often set aside
to make way for the tide.

You can do wonders, just know yourself !!
